Art Deco Vanity Dressing Table Set, Seven Pieces, in Amber Cloud Pressed Glass, Polished outside, matt inside. The Amber Colour was first introduced in 1929 by George Davidson & Co, England.  

The Cloud Glass technique is a form of pressed art glass and was invented byThomas Davidson in 1923. By applying streaks of dark coloured glass to paler glass, a random swirled, clouded pattern is created. It continued to be made up by the Company until World War II.

The Teams Flint Glass Works in Gateshead was founded in 1867 by George Davidson, which later became known as George Davidson & Co when it was taken over by his son Thomas Davidson in 1891. After 120 years of supplying high quality pressed glass to the world, the factory finally closed in 1987.
